Terms of Use
The ground rules for using Locus with care, clarity, and good judgment.
These Terms of Use explain how you may access and use Locus, what we expect from members, and how we protect the community experience we are trying to build.
01
1. Eligibility and accounts
You may use Locus only if you can form a binding contract and comply with these terms. If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information, keep it current, and maintain the confidentiality of your login details.
You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, let us know immediately so we can help secure it.
02
2. Acceptable use
Locus is designed to help people meet with intention. You agree not to use the service to harass, impersonate, exploit, spam, scam, or otherwise harm other people or the platform.
You also agree not to attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, disrupt, or interfere with the product, the underlying systems, or the experience of other users.

Do not upload unlawful, deceptive, or abusive content.

Do not automate access or bypass product limits without permission.

Do not use the service in a way that violates someone else’s rights.
03
3. Content and interactions
You are responsible for the content you share, including your profile details, messages, and any other submissions. We may remove content or limit access where necessary to protect users, the service, or our community standards.
Matching and in-person interactions are ultimately your responsibility. Use your own judgment, meet in safe settings, and follow applicable laws and venue rules.
04
4. Intellectual property
Locus, including the product design, software, brand assets, and content we provide, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. Except for the limited right to use the service under these terms, no rights are transferred to you.
If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or compensation, unless the law says otherwise.
05
5. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to Locus at any time if we reasonably believe you violated these terms, created risk for the community, or exposed the service to legal or security issues.
You may stop using the service at any time. Certain sections of these terms will continue to apply after termination, including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
